As one of two founding members of the Art & Design Operations team in the Product Design organization, one of my first objectives was to collaborate with the UX/UI team to establish the formal product experience guidelines and specs for Disney+. The focus of the spec was to inspire creativity, consistency and most importantly story telling through the navigation experience.
My role led the strategy across creative production design, storytelling and technical specs while partnering with one of our principal creative product designers to strategize and design the documentation. Additionally my role oversaw the end to end production operation of the content for in-house teams and vendors that created assets for the service.
This documentation set the standard across creative and production design for all titles globally available on the service and was eventually used and managed by all the creative product designers that eventually joined the team.
